Coquillade Rouge

Hints of plums and blackberries, fine and delicate in its fruit, very intense and aromatic, with lots of cherry and red berries, but also forest floor and sloe. Rich and dense. Firm and ripe tannin structure. Garrigue and black olives. Mediterranean richness and chocolaty exoticism with fine and fresh acidity determine the finish.

The grapes are harvested by hand in small containers, destemmed after spending a night in a refrigerated container, then are sorted and transferred to temperature controlled stainless steel tanks for maceration and alcoholic fermentation with the vineyard's native yeasts. The wine matures for 18 months in wooden casks and in concrete eggs, where malolactic fermentation takes place.
